Bungo - Yea 've got some sketchers and agree they are old codgers footwear, but don't all slip on footwear, espadrilles etc, not to mentions sandles, look shit?
Living in a hot country I'm normally in shorts anyway, so they at least look better on than with jeans for example. Also, if you are just popping out to the shop then putting on a pair of sneakers/trainers, bending down to tie up the laces etc, is a hassle.
As for crocs, they must be the ugliest creation I've ever seen, find it totally baffling why they are so popular. A massive no.

How about throwing Skechers Slip-ins into the mix?
Whilst they are without question old codger footwear, I have recently found them to be ideal for airports and flights, when the ability to quickly remove and replace them is helpful.
Just me?

Not if you've a lined pair fella, a subtle, yet important distinction that hasn't been made on here. Fila vs Tachinni, Burburry vs Aquascutum springs to mind.

Fine for kids to wear on holiday, but no self respecting adult should ever wear a pair in any circumstances

Spot the Z listers.
All the cool cats (me) wear them. Pottering around the house, crocs. Doing the gardening, crocs. Collecting the kids from school, crocs and a pair of Paddy McCourts.
I guess some of you are too old for the croc’n’roll lifestyle.

They are great for what they were designed for which is messing about in water especially on the beach and rockpooling.

Absolutely 100% no. Straight red card. Yellow card if you work in a hospital or are gardening, but even then it's a final warning.

The price of the things as well!
£35+ for the result of a drunken sexual encounter between a slipper and a flip flop?
People are weird.

I find this year’s proposal’s for footwear largely distressing. It’s like people actually want to look like fashion victims.

Fuck no.
When they released idiocracy, the costume director saw them and made all the future morons wear them as he thought they looked fucking stupid and would never catch on.
That film predicts the future better than nostodamus

Was in town today and all the kids are wearing them.
I’d assumed they were the choice of nurses and tramps.
